We got a letter from a close relative in Canada offering us a place to stay till find our own or get on our feet.
They notarized it and sent us on email. Is this scanned copy acceptable? or shall we get it couriered to our country.. (shipping original costs a small fortune). :)

We are trying to include it as part of our proof of intention to relocate to Canada once Applicant PR is approved.
Sponsor is canadian citizen living abroad.

My honest opinion is ask your relative to send it to you by mail since its a notarized document.

Rule of thumb, if the document is notarized and if you made copies like scanned or duplicated then it not the ORIGINAL but scanned copy. Submit the original notarized letter then keep your scanned copy for your self.
