Hi guys i have been given an offer letter by an agency in Canada and i did and interview as well, the agency however is asking for money to proceed with the applications and i have been noticing some red flags which am not sure are red flags but one can never be careful enough, how do i know if a job offer from canada is legitimate or fake and what is the procedure of getting a job in canada through agencies?

If they are asking you for money it is a red flag.
Research about the business you have been offered the job...
Let me tell you frankly you also might have seen a lot of news of job lines of thousands for mere number jobs....the job market is very cold these days....
So you can imagine....

No worries....
Yeah if they are inviting a foreign national to work for them...but sometimes some immigrants land as PR, there is no restrictions if they have thar status...

So what youre telling me is that it might still be legit, since they are asking for $400 so as to start the visa process with the consulate whats your genuine opinion?

I didn't said that....
Think logically...if you go to a job interview would they ask you for money to start a job...
It's a time consuming process to hire foreign nationals and companies usually don't want to deal with paperwork...
Which company is this you are talking about and which job profile??

I am a baker and they are recruiting me for the same, however i am being recruited through an agency called (hirelabplc) and the agency is the entity asking for money to do the visa process but something just feels out of place with this whole process..

You are right, why would they invite baker from other country whereas they can train any local easily....
I googled it and found this....
