Life is SK is quiet. Not many people down here but tons of job opportunities with decent paid varying from Barista to Senior Engineer. They are looking for hire people to develop this province. so if you are new to Canada, come to SK to gain some work experience then relocate to other place is not a bad idea at all.

There are two major cities you can live in. Regina and Saskatoon. Living expense is a bit higher compared to the other big cities like Toronto. Especially food, Asian food here is pricy but not tasty.

The last thing you have to overcome is extremely cold weather. It can be -20 or -30 for a week. Get ready for that if you want to come here.

SK nominee program might be a bit easier compared to others.

It totally depends on you to decide which city you gonna live in. Personally, I like Saskatoon as of the city landscape. It has a river go through entire city and has hills. Just make me feel never get bored of this. Regina is flat.

Hello, planning to do a soft landing, to return mid next year. I am a Saskatchewan pnp candidate. My questions are -

Can we land in Calgary for two to three days, before we go to Saks, as long as our medicals do not expire before we go?

Secondly, can we land and stay at Saskatoon, even though the port of entry on our Copr is Regina?

What are the important things we need to do, before we go back to our country?

If your first port of entry is Calgary, then you can soft landing in Calgary.

No way that cost of living is higher is SK than Toronto. You will have less selection and you will pay more for specialty items but large items living housing and transportation will be lower.

Hi,
I live in Saskatoon and I love the city.
Affordable rents and it’s not so hard to get a job here.
I didn’t like Regina when I went there, didn’t get “good vibes”.
