Hey guys, I finally heard back from SINP, and now I kinda regret not using a representative. I misunderstood the work experience portion and how it was calculated, and I did not know there was a calculator to convert the IELTS to CLB. Basically, I messed up two parts of my EOI, and while my score of 65 would make me eligible for other draws, the draw where I got the ITA was a 69 when, to them, my score was supposed to be lower. I don't know if I should appeal the decision or reapply when my age will certainly lower my score. Appealing will also take more than a year, so I am genuinely baffled right now. I put a lot of time, money, and effort into this. Any advice?

Here is what I received:
Work Experience Credentials You do not meet the Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid criteria. You have not received as many points as you claimed for the work experience in the application. You claimed 15 points (10 years) under work experience in the intended occupation 21220 – Cybersecurity specialists, however our assessment shows you only have 4 years (8 points) of work experience during the last 5 years and 4 years (4 points) in the six to ten year period prior to application. Further, please note; you have claimed 20 points on language, but our assessment shows your CLB is 7 which is only 18 points. The work experience and language score you have submitted in your application does not meet the Expression of Interest (EOI) draw point. Therefore, your Invitation to Apply was drawn based on incorrect information submitted on your EOI profile. As a result, we are closing your application with no further assessment of any other criteria or documents.

You didn’t meet the draw score so no point in appealing. Your application is closed. You claimed 10 years of experience and only showed 4 years, and you miscalculated your language scores. Re-enter the pool.
