Dear Members and Residents of Canada

I have somehow similar question to that already asked, and i have gone through all, but still want to clarify further about pregnancy related issues.
My wife she is pregnant and when we are going to land she will be in 5th month of her pregnancy..

1. If there is no complication, is it fine to land with the wife pregnant? I mean there is no landing issues with Immigration officer?
2. Saskatchewan Covers the health services for new immigrant because we will land in toronto and the next flight after 16 hours we will land in regina?

I will appreciate your answers

1. There will be no issues at the point of entry.

2. You may want to read the official Sask. Health Ministry website to see what are the eligibility requirements. As far as I know, Sask. healthcare should cover new immigrants right away.

Thanks Steevy, really apreciate ur reply, God bless u

I have read this page but the confusion in this is they says if u are among the following group, u "MAY" be eligible for 1st day coverage... So this MAY be is confusing.. Thats why i want to know some real example with people who got coverage from first day...

Usually, this "May be" means that you must have some extraordinary situation not to be eligible for the first day coverage. You can give them a call and ask them directly with regards to your specific case.

Yes it seems correct and these extraordinary circumstances may include certain disability or some mental issues... but everything is fine and i think Pregnancy will be considered as a normal situation. I will call them to reconfirm, i already sent them email.
