I if you intend landing in Saskatchewan, let's connect here.

One of the main reasons that Saskatchewan’s quality of life is high is that the cost of living is low. While Saskatchewan is an economic leader in Canada, our cost of living is low when compared to many parts of Canada. We also have the fastest growing population in the country and all this growth has created jobs that need to be filled. This has allowed Saskatchewan to enjoy one of the lowest unemployment rates in Canada!

Saskatchewan’s Low Taxes and Household Charges:
Saskatchewan’s taxes and household charges are among the lowest in Canada and our personal sales tax of 5% is the lowest of the nine provinces that charge a sales tax.
Taxes and household charges for a family with a total income of $50,000 in 2012:
Saskatoon: $16,614
Vancouver: $35,960
Calgary: $19,030
Toronto: $28,181

Are these the taxes?
Vancouver $35960 on an income of $50000!
Isn't it too much?

Those figures were as quoted on the web site of the source. But the rates of taxes from the federal government is about 15% over a range of wage and additional ones kicks in for more income.

Then the provincial tax, particularly for for Saskatchewan ranges between 11% and 15% depending on ones income band.

How's the economy in Saskatchewan? What about job availability?
