Hi, everyone is welcome to express their opinion on this post. Thanks in advance.
I am a canadian citizen engaged with my same-sex partner from the philippines, we are currently on the process of getting her a trv to come here and marry (legality speaking because we both wanted to have the same rights as hetero-sexual couples have. Eg: get a house under our names etc.) No plans of her staying in canada cos she owns few businesses and aside from that, runs their family businesses as well.
I stated in the invitation letter that she is my fiance and will only be here for a month just to marry tland meet my family, then will go back to manila after that.
Included in the letter and our application would be my LOE, NOA 2016, CIT. CERT. and a letter of support from my family wishing her to come here plus their certificates as well.
For her part, all previous passports which shows hundreds of international stamps for travel, proof of funds, legit business registration papers, properties, investements and such.
Question is, stating she is my fiance on the letter and our intention of getting married here for legalities, whatare the chances of her being denied or approved? I spoke to a consultant and i only got a single word response. POSITIVE.
THANKS TO ALL THAT WILL ANSWER.
