Same PR renewal Query

Dear All,
I have more or less same question. Sorry for the repetition.
My family ( wife and 2 children)has applied for PR renewal last week. They have completed the necessary number days in Canada. But my condition is different. I was out of Canada for most of the days in the last 5 years. I entered Canada with my family last month. Our PR cards will expire next month.
I am not eligible for PR renewal. I won't qualify for humanitarian ground also. I was out of Canada for supporting my family only. Now my wife got a job and she can support the family.
Few of my friends are suggesting me to apply thru a lawyer on humanitarian grounds. Others are advising to wait to complete the necessary days (that in my case is nearly 2 years) and then apply.
What should I do?

Wait for the required days... There is no obvious H&C consideration in what you have described. If you go for premature renewal, you risk losing your PR status.
