Dear everyone,

I have problem finding NOC code, the following is my situation:

I graduated from Queen's with a BAH major in Economics and minor in Math. And I got accepted from one of the top 10 Insurance Company in Jan 12, 2012 as an intern in University Graduate Development Program. This program including rotation in different departments every 6 months.

My first rotation from Jan 12, 2012 - July 2nd, 2012 working as a project control officer and marketing researcher. The company did not give me a specific title back in that time. Here is my role description:

Project A
- Review and collate existing intelligence on Project A and the market place.
- Conduct a market scan to identify current players and high level service capabilities
- As part of the review research and identify and XX capabilities with Project A.
- Create summary reference documents
- Work with BA to capture current drug claim volumes and activity. Collate historical costs and volumes as a basis for both marketing and to project future activity and pricing
- Work with BA and Business Lead to develop initial draft of Project A RFP questions

Project B
- Review and collate existing intelligence on Project B service in the marketplace
- Assist team in conducting and capturing the competitive marketplace – identify current players and high level e-service capabilities
- Establish and maintain project documents: set up filling structure, PM governance, budget, Risk and issue Framework, IT resource plan view, maintain logs

Project C
- Assist team in conducting and capturing the competitive marketplace – identify current players and high level e- service capabilities
- Establish and maintain project documents: set up filling structure, PM governance, budget, Risk and issue Framework, IT resource plan view, maintain logs

As I am applying to PR through CEC next year, the closest NOC code I could find are 1221 and 4163 respectively.

I have consulted a lawyer and he indicated that both 1221 and 4163 might not be qualified (or very easy to be rejected) for CEC.

And my role in the second rotation is much more clear : IT - BA (2171)

Can any one help me with this? Many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many many THANKS!!!

And another question would be:

I worked at school as a TA for 8 months (before my present work), but only 2 hrs per week.
Should I also include this to apply CEC? Thanks! :D

only full-time work counts toward CEC. part time positions wouldn't be counted so you don't need to include it

where do u got the information that partime won't be counted???

part time is also counted if it is on PGWP or any other work permit other then OFWP & Study Permit

I got two friends both got their PPR. One applied under PNP in January of this year and got his passport request last month. Another friend applied under CEC in November of 2010 and got his passport request this month. Many says CEC is quicker, but not in their cases! 9 months v.s. 2 years lol
