Salary slips for what purpose? For study permit, VO wants to see your funds in a bank account. Salary slips don't show funds, nor is future income considered. Depending on age, funds should be yours.

Sorry my bad, I wanted to say it can show proof of employment for students who have gap after education because of work.

Salary certificate and salary ship are not proof of funds, so have no bearing.

I think u r forgetting that mostly parents suppor

But past or future salary isn’t financial support. POF is liquid funds. What is accepted POF is on the IRCC website. Property valuation is not liquid funds. Bank statements/GIC, yes. Your parents can support you but you still need your own funds too.

Assume you have paid tuition and showing GIC of minimum $10k which is all you need for SDS. Was funds a reason for refusal?
