Why would you call that sad news? If they were working illegally, the proper action should be taken against them. A person that chooses to break the law must be prepared to face the consequences.

Yes, if some one doing illegal activity they should be punished

I can totally understand.
But still feeling bad for those guys.

its is sad but they were working illegally what do u expect when u work illegally.....i wish they hunt down all illegals so legal people have a better chance and not face problem getting a job....also that will stop favoritism like hiring form the same counrty the employer is from ...

Those students were doing labour jobs and they are not even paid the minimum wage. A legitimate person would not do the jobs these students do. :(

I agree with this and none of them will like to go against law but there circumstances will force them to do that.
but illegal work is different from working illegally

but anyway because of this may be the other newcomers will not repeat the same

but I even respect the others opinions above

It is sad, lives ruined for working -- I respect people who work to support themselves. Sometimes lives do not fit easily within the law, and the law that these people have broken is a real one, but not a moral one. The penalty that they will receive is greater than the harm they have committed, but I'm not here to argue this point, which I know many people disagree with. What I wish is that if there must be severe penalties for this crime, that they fall largely on the business. I have never held with punishing the worker and ignoring the employer. If it is a situation where the workers have committed more extensive fraud or misrepresentation, then so be it -- but if everyone had their eyes open, come down on the business and not the student.
