Hi All,

I have a doubt here. I submitted my PR application on 17th feb,19. I am thinking of taking a sabbatical leave from April onwards in my current company, which is also informally approved.
Now my doubt is if the sabbatical will effect my BGC check from Canadian immigration.
Is that a problem, if my company says that I am on a sabbatical leave? As, according to me, I am still a part of organization.
Kindly respond.
Thanks, Shipika

As long as your information in your EE profile is correlated with the information in your reference letter, no worries. That's what matters.
In the unlikely that they call your employer for verification, it won't be to verify that you still work there. It will to verify that you actually worked there based on the info you provided them in your application.
You can even quite your job if you want. (But don't do it though :D ...)

Thanks a lot. I am so relieved.
