Hello, I'm from Russia,we was married in Russia, my husband is Canadian. Before marriage my husband bring to Russia all his documents, which was previously finished legalization process in Canada. For sponsorship we did not legalization process for our Russian marriage certificate. Now sponsorship process finished,I approved and in Canada now. Should we do legalization for marriage certificate to make it has legal authority in Canada? Or after finished sponsorship it's not necessary ?

You may need a notarized translation from time to time but rarely. Congrats.

Just to be clear, this is not the legalization process as in Russia. Just take to a notary for official copy and translation. And you may not need it much or at all in Canada, just good to have in case you should need in future.

You probably submitted a notarized copy with translation when you submitted your application, same thing.

There is no legalization process in Canada.
