Rules regarding paid internship for international graduate student

Hello,

I am a currently a graduate student and my program length is two years.I have been offered a part time paid internship position(not co-op) off campus. Can I do internship as an international student if it is part time while I am in school? Also, the internship is not required to finish my program.

If it is under 20 hours and your permit allows off-campus work. It will be considered like any other part-time job. You must remain a FT student.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking too but wanted to confirm. It is under 20 hours.
