I received my residency questionnaire and have some questions, hope anyone here with the knowledge may help me out as I called CIC call center many times but cannot get connected with any agents.
1. Is the 45 days referring to working days or calendar days?
2. Actually in order to avoid RQ, I already included most of the documents required by RQ such as rental agreement, medical records, bank and credit card statement, tax related etc. in my original application. But unfortunately I still got RQ and I really doubt anyone has reviewed my application before sending out RQ. I paid money to gether some documents, I was wondering if I still need to submit those documents again?

Thank you for your response and help in advance. Good luck to all applicants.

1.submit anything they asked for and whether its the same stuffs u had already submitted arent a big concern.
2.45 days is calender date u might want to submit everything ASAP

it takes long time for CIC to review your submission ( a friend submitted documents for 5 months ,til now still hear nothin)

good luck.

You should submit as much information as possible, even if you have already provided the same with the application. Also, it might be helpful if you can also prepare an index or table of contents and spiral bind the documents.

If you are waiting on stuff like health records, send all the documents you have before the deadline. Include a letter outlining on which docs you are still waiting, and send them as soon as you have them.

Hi,
Could you please confirm if your Ecase has been updated when RQ was sent. Does it say anything like " We sent you a letter on xx xx xx.......? Also Received line...is it still there or it disappeared? and when?

Why did you get RQ, did you stay outside of Canada for a certain while?

In my case, that line never disappeared, though the CIC call center agents confirmed many times that RQ response was received. So what you see is normal.
