Q 10: Where have all of your family members (e.g. spouse, common-law partner, children, mother, father, brothers and sisters) lived during your relevant period?

Do i need to Mention Travel History for Spouse and Kids or just state that they lived in Canada With Me?
Let say they traveled outside canada 15 times in the last 4 years, so need to put all of them? .Even Day trips to USA for shopping?

Q24.During the relevant period, describe the nature and extent of your social ties in canada.Examples of social ties could be active memberships in community or religious organizations, volunteer groups, etc.Provide documents letters from organization describing nature and frequency of community involvement.?

What documents i should provide for question 24? I am not member of any organisation in canada

No. Ask yourself how you would have responded if someone asked you in the aisles of the Gap Outlet or Trader Joe's or wherever if you lived at the Mall. You would not say "Yes, I live here in the Gap Outlet, but just for today". You would say that you live in Canada. Mention your travel history in the travel history section. In the "where did you live" section, list where you would describe yourself as having lived.

The CIC doesn't define what it means to be "living" somewhere, so you have to define it for yourself as honestly as possible.

Speaking personally, my husband and I stayed in the US for 6 weeks on a temporary assignment in 2009. I mentioned this in my travel history, but after a lot of deliberation I decided that I was still "living" in Montreal because we traveled back and forth often, all our stuff was in Montreal, we kept our apartment and the time in the US was temporary in nature and limited. Montreal was my home. If someone stopped me on the streets that summer and asked me where I lived, I would have said Montreal.

However, I listed two summers (2005, 2006) that my partner and I spent living and working in the USA as "living in USA" for both my partner and I. I was in Canada as a grad student on a student visa (at that time student visas prohibited almost all work in Canada), which is a temporary category. During that period we didn't consider Canada our permanent home. We thought we'd probably head back to the USA after grad school. Also, we'd subleted our apartment.

With the RQ, it's always good to remember that you cannot submit a document which does not exist. Also, volunteering and joining clubs and going to church/mosque/temple/synagogue is not required for citizenship. But if you have done any of these things, it's good to put it down because it shows that you were physically present here.
