Please help. I cant understand meaning of:

For the purpose of this questionnaire: "Arrival date in Canada" means the earlier of:
I. the date on which you first came to Canada to live;
II. the date on which you became PR

I am confused, I came to Canada 2006, but I wasn't allowed to travel as a refugee claimant from 2006 to 2010 when I became PR.
I my RQ they want info for travel from 2008-2012. They suppose to know I cant travel as a refugee claimant from 2008 to 2010

1. The original date of entry is 2006 unless you left between 2006 and 2010.
2. How would CIC know? They don't track every individuals travel in/out of Canada. Just because you were a refugee claimant, they don't know that you didn't travel.

because they seized all of my travel documents when claim refugee application and i am not allow to travel till i get positive decision on my refugee claim

Today I called CIC to ask what is a waiting time after sending filled RQ to CIC and they told me "it's depends". I tell them I read in many forums and newspapers waiting time is about 48 months and the answer was: which province you are? I said Ontario, and the guy told me: No, I'ts not 48 months anymore. We changed to 35 months.

Hi Redstorm,

That is unfortunate that CIC did this. You have NO travel history? Even after you became PR?

I wonder what triggered your RQ? Any ideas anyone?

I have 91 days travel, 4 x 23 days approx. - vacations from may 2010 till Feb 2012, but I calculate each day
