RPRF right of permanent residency fee

Do we need to pay RPRF right of permanent residency fee of $490 per applicant along with our Canada PR application fee of $550 per applicant or the RPRF can be paid later ?

Kindly advise what is the difference and advantages in paying now and later.

You can pay it now, but you don't have to. You will have to pay it later when you will be sent passport request (for COPR)
