Hi all,

to which email address do I need to send the RPRF reciept? From toby's link I saw that the CPPO email address has changed. Is this still valid? CPPO-Cost-Recovery @ cic.gc.ca .
Is it advisable to pay the fee before the request to save some processing time?

Thanks

The letter I received last month says:
"You must send the receipt to CPP-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address
CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca."

Second that. That's the correct email address.

Hi guys, thanks for the quick response.
But does anybody have some staticstics if it saves time if you pay before they ask? In the end you will get it refunded if things don't work out so there is not a real risk.

Cheers

Since it's an online payment it won't save you a whole lot of time. Maybe a day or two tops.
I paid my RPRF with my initial application.

The question is more like if the VO who looks into my file will process the case sooner if the fee is already paid instead of him requesting it from me and look at it at a later stage again.

Looking at June timelines, they all get MRs etc at the same time. Not sure if some paid RPRF upfront or not, but I can't
see any reason for a faster processing if fees have been paid upfront.

There's little to no time saving. However, if you wait until they ask for it, that would be a good indication that your eligibility has passed.

It probably means the eligibility assessment is not finished yet.

So, do we receive MR before elgibility assessment ?

MR can happen before or after eligibility assessment.
unfortunately, there is no solid step by step rule. it is up to VOs
