RPRF Receipt !!!

Has anybody who has already got their visas not gotten their RPRF receipt. I still did not get mine and I have no clue. I spoke with my agency and they said it will come along with visa, on the other hand, my friend told that first the receipt will come and then in a few days your Visa will be stamped. As of date, I have not yet received the receipt. Anybody who has received the receipt, do post in ur replies. All thoughts are highly appreciated.

when did u send ur RPRF and passports. If it is more than a month time, it is better to enquire through case specific enquiry.

RPRF and passports were submitted on December 22, 2009, to our agency. Medicals were also done on that date. This is what the e-case is showing "IN PROCESS"

"We received your application for permanent residence on July 10, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 4, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on September 9, 2009. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on November 26, 2009."

Is it mandatory to show "Medical results receieved." coz in my case it is still not showing and I checked the courier consignment number and it shows that the medical report has reached CHC, New Delhi on December 24, 2009. All thoughts highly appreciated.

It is not necessary that e-case will show that medicals have been received.

it is seen that When e-case will be changed to decision made - means they have granted visa and after that within a week time, visa stamped passports are despatched to applicants.

In most of cases, after submission of RPRF/Passprts, it takes 45-60 days in finalization for VISA.

Wait for a week, send e-case specific enquiry to high commission to know progress of ur case.

MY PASSPORTS AND RPRF WAS SENT TO ND ON 14TH JAN. A RECEIPT FOR THE RPRF WAS SENT ON 19TH JAN BY CHC. BUT I Have heard nothing since.

JSP DO U THINK I SHOULD SEND A CASE SPECEFIC ENQUIRY ALSO?

I have send my medicals on 28th dec and got the receipt of RPRF on 8th jan... but still the progress is as told by everyone..... IN PROGRESS.... waiting for the reply folks.........

@ avishekchaudhury,bhaveshenee ; Wait my dear friends, as u have received receipt for ur RPRF, i think u might have sent RPRF along with passports. It means they have received all the required information and now it is under review stage.

i do n't know whether u are aware or not , before issuing visa- every case is reviewed by a team of experts and visa is issued only when they are satisfied from all aspects.

wait for atleast 2months after the despatch of passports/RPRF, if u get no updation, u can ask them through case specific enquiry. under this u will get only generic mails, they have their own style of working, Do not compare with others that someone got visa in 15 days/ 30 days, time span varies from case to case.

Now it is on the verge of completion, keep ur self cool and pray to God that u get visa soon.

I know that there is a team of experts to review. But actually, werent we all reviewed previously and requested medical based on that decision. So then why again another review. This can reduce time a lot of this method is avoided. Its been almost 2 months now after my medical. Praying to God for my Visa to be stamped and passport to reach me as soon as possible. Thanks.
