RPRF Question

Hello there just browse the forum, can i ask anyone here, when did you pay the RPRF? coz my husband already ask PPR. since i only paid 550CAD for the sponshorship. im confused do i need to pay the RPRF? i landed as FSW last 2009 and paid my RPRF together with my medical request. i wonder my husband already have PPR since i havent pay any RPRF. the immigration dosent notify me or my husband any RPRF. those it delay the visa of my husband? counting the days to be with him. ;D

Hey Thinh99,

I ordered my wife's CAIPS and we just received the notes yesterday. Basically, my wife was placed on the interview list for this reason: quote, " WHY interest in marrying a farmer ". Our education level was a red flag: I have a master's and she had basic education up to 11 grade.

Overall, CAIPS was very beneficial. I was able to see the VO's opinion, specifically, VO stated that there is a possibility of the interview be waived and recommended DNA testing. In addition, we were able to see the date when her application will be brought forward again (February 27, 2011), which was a relief since we didn't hear anything from them for awhile now. Hopefully, we'll get a letter in March about the date for DNA Testing.

I was also advised by SPORE to not do the remeds until the office tell us to.




---I paid my RPRF when I submitted my application to CPM-Mississauga. All fees were paid at the start.

That is great news Sovo!! i hope you will hear good news soon. My wife got her passport, we are leaving this monday 21-03. You know what Sovo when my wife was in the interview room they pointed that there was a letter saying that im sponsoring my wife for money. Do you think that is a trap? anyway my case is done dun care anymore. I wish you luck keep me updated.

Congratulation Thinh99!!!! What province are you and family heading to? Yeah I think that was a trap. I can't believe they try to be sneaky with questions like that. My daughters POC and passport all completed now as well. All is left is my the date for DNA and eventually remedies. Hopefully interview will get waived. I'll keep you updated when we hear some news
