RPRF in New York VO - need help here... :(

hi everyone,

I received the medical request from new york VO already. and in the letter they mentioned about RPRF and a link for specific instruction regarding fee payments. the problem is, i just don't know how to send the money order or bank draft, but im sure it is the NEW YORK VO. i just thought i could use their address stated in the letter but im not sure what department... here is the link....

i hope someone could help me with this. specially jes_on who was recently approved in his application and we are in the same VO...

hai it very simple and clear if u want pay by CANADIAN DOLLAR THE DRAFT OR MO SHOULD BE MADE" RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" WITH CANADIAN BANK OR POST OFFICE.
if u want to pay by US DOLLAR the DD or MO should be made in US bank or post office under the name of " CONSULATE GENERAL OF CANADA,NEW YORK" i also applied my first work permit in newyork only

thanks for the reply. i totally understand that part, what i am confuse about is, i have the bank draft already, and want to send them my payment, do i have to mail it to the VO, by the bank draft itself? nothing else?

i noticed that your NOC code is 6242 which B(cook) can you please let me know about your IELTS score for(listening-speaking-writing-reading)?

well, you can mail by post with copy of letter, draft and one detailed letter,it will be ok!! dont worry!!

hai i just noticed, i am also working as a cook, may i know your ielts score, by the way i got my AINP approval so i dont need IELTS, just asking for some knowledge!!

Yes, mail it to the VO that requested it; their address should be on the letter you received, it's also on their website:

Send it with a copy of the letter or email you received from CIC-NY requesting the payment. If you received bar code stickers, you can attach that to the letter.

You could also wait until you complete the medical exam, and send a copy of your receipt from the DMP along with the bank draft.

yeah im planning to send my RPRF 2 weeks after my medical. just to make sure everything will be ok.

thank you guys.manitha your approval was pretty fast(6months),i heared alberta takes very long for processing AINP
i have some questions for you pls:
1)what category did you applied under,did you applied as a cook or line cook?
2)how long you been working with the employer that nominates you?
3)do you have a cooking diploma or certificate?lots of experience?
4)whats your nationality?

did you applied under the strategic stream complusory and optional category OR employer driven stream?
does the nomination package include the work permit support letter or you still need LMO to extend your work permit?

hai, i applied under employer driven streame after 9 months of work under the employer, yes i did my one year course in india after my 10th. i have nearly 12 years of work experience including 6 years in abrod. no they will not send any letter for your work permit extn. but you can send your application with copy of your nominations. the main thing is they did not call me or my employer or did not ask any information from my employer. they are approved straight away exatly after 5 and half months.
