My name is Raisa and I applied for my husbands sponsorship on October 17th 2013 from Albania to Canada. We have received positive affirmation in terms of my application, we were approved for sponsorship on 11/7/13. On December 17th, 2013 we received a request to answer a question pertaining to financial ability which we also answered. Then on February 25th 2014, we received an request to send my husbands passport as well as the email stating that they were ready to "finalize the process" and when I checked CIC yesterday it stated that not only had they processed the application on March 10th but that they would send us communication regarding their decision. As of today we have received no communication and I am wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the usual length of time for these sorts of things? Any ideas would be appreciated,.
