Risks of rejecting ITA

I recently applied for express entry and got an ITA. But while getting one of the work-ex referral letter, I realized that officially my experience is not from March 2016 to March 2017 but from May 2016 to March 2017. This experience made me eligible for FSW one-year criteria.

I now plan to reject this ITA and apply under different NOC.

- Will rejecting the application will have any negative consequences? Will I need to explain why I rejected and why in my new application the experience is different

- Will applying under new NOC will have any consequences or result in rejection

- Should I give an explanation letter in my new application

No negative impact as far as I know. You can apply under any NOC, and if you wish you can explain it in LOE

The month change I can understand, but why the NOC change? How did the work suddenly change?
