I've already sent the copy of my passport to my VO with my Canadian address. So they know that I'm here I didn't know that I could send everything to Ottawa.
Thank you for your help, you're nice.
There are a couple of things you might need to pay attention to. First, if sent your passport to your VO in your home country, they may informally know that you're in Canada but they may still send your passport back to your mailing address in your home country.
Second, once you get your passport back, you will have to land in Canada in order to finalize your PR application. You'll then have your CoPR applied to your passport. However, this will allow you to leave and then enter Canada by ground, but not by air. So if you go back to your home country with only your CoPR and passport, you won't have any way to get back into Canada by air until you get your PR card, which usually takes at least a couple of months.
One approach might be to take your passport and CoPR back to your home country when you visit in August, and then use it to enter into Canada when you return. Remember, your passport will have a ticket that will allow you to land once in Canada.
