Returning Visitor

Hi,
I'm visiting from the UK, looking at EE / FSW and considering life generally in Canada. My 6 month visitor stamp expires on April 2nd and as EE is looking like a much slower process than expected I'll probably need to extend my visitor status or go back to the UK. But as my fiancee is living and working here for another year I want to come back a.s.a.p., and for as long as possible. What are the chances of getting a second six-month visitor visa when I return, or, how long can my first one be extended in theory? Also, if I do return to the UK briefly, will that time be deducted from our 'common-law' time spent together?

Things seemed much simpler before EE!

Many thanks.

Rather than leaving, I would apply to extend your visit from within Canada.

Thanks (again). Is there a notional maximum time that can be added?
You can ask for six months.

You need a return ticket. It's unlikely the airline will even let you board the plane to Canada with a one way.
