Our application was returned because the 2 photos were not the right size (stubborn husband didn’t mesure them has I asked him to do so!) It took about a week to receive it, by the time it came back I had to refill a form because it had been updated! Not a big thing but with all that we lost maybe a month or so that could have been avoided if querido esposo would not be so stubborn!!!!Hi there,
Anyone has experience, once your application is returned then how long it takes you to get it back? Also, possible reasons for return?
How long it takes to receive it back depends on how long AOR is taking at that time. If your application is returned, it's placed in the mail around the same time you would have otherwise received your AOR.Hi there,

Acknowledge of receipt. That’s the first notification you get from IRCC (in case your app was complete) with your UCI number and invitation to link account. This may be a silly question but what does AOR stand for?
I am not sure, but I think they will cover the cost to send it back and they will probably send it to sponsor's address in Canada (if the sponsor lives in Canada?). Not sure what they do if sponsor is a Canadian citizen living in another country.Who pays for the shipment when you get your application back? It could get very expensive if its outland and they send the whole application, does the courier company collect money from you when your parcel arrives? If my whole application is returned, I will need to pay about 45.00 to resend everything and I will probably be charged for getting the application returned to me from CIC.
The application will go to the address to PA's Country, or the address on IMM000008 (Generic Form). If the sponsor is acting as an representative, then the application will be returned to sponsor.I am not sure, but I think they will cover the cost to send it back and they will probably send it to sponsor's address in Canada (if the sponsor lives in Canada?).
