Return Passport

Good Night everyone.

I'm sponsoring by hubby in Jamaica. The process has gone fairly smoothly. My question is how long does the Embassy usually takes to send back the passport once they ask for it. They requested by husband send in his by DHL with a paid return envelope. That was done almost three weeks now. Does anyone know what the usual wait time is for them home and back the passport?
