Retroactive CCB

My child’s father was Canadian, my daughter is Canadian. I am currently without status awaiting PR H&C.
My child’s father passed away a year ago and he was the one receiving the Child Tax Benefit.
I’m just wondering if I’ll be able to claim retroactive CCB payments from the date he passed if my PR is approved?

No. Receiving CCB is based on the parent’s status not the child.
