Restoring Study Permit past 90 days expiration

Hey guys,

So my cousin's study permit expired in September 2013 and he applied for a work permit but was unsuccessful. The thing is, he completed his studies in December 2013, so he studied for 4 months without a permit. I was wondering if we could restore his study permit status and if we try, are there any risks associated with it? Since he technically illegally studied in Canada for 4 months, does the government have the right to revoke his diploma?

You've put yourself in a deep deep bad position. I wouldn't even recommend doing anything really.

This is gross violation of canadian immigration law. If u take time to study this aspect of violation u will discover that it is illegal to study in canada without permit. I doubt if u can extend or renew the permit successfully.

It's impossible for him to restore his study permit at this point and it's a complete waste of money trying. It is also impossible for him to restore his status from within Canada because too much time has passed. His only option is to leave Canada. If he ever wants to enter Canada again, he should leave Canada as soon as possible rather than trying to submit any kind of application from within Canada which is only going to be refused.
