Restoring Status Question (Urgent advice needed!)

So I landed in Canada, July 29th 2011, I am a U.S. and German Citizen so my Visa ran out end of January. I was so caught up with having a child on the way (my partner is Canadian) and problems with Canada Post releasing my hearing aid, on top of my travelling and hiking that I do, that my visa limitations completely slipped my mind. So i'm just one month over my visa and found out I have a 90 day grace period, which I want to make use of to make this right.

There are a few things I am uncertain of in the application.: "You may wish to complete an application to apply for restoration of temporary resident status but there is
no guarantee that your application will be accepted. On your application you must provide full details of all
the facts and circumstances that resulted in you committing the offence.
There is a fee for extension of temporary resident status. However, the regular fee for temporary resident
status is not required if applying for restoration. Restoration applies to each member who has lost his or her
status."

Does this mean I only have to pay the $200 Canadian to restore my status? Or do I have to pay the 75 to extend aswell? I'm only planning on staying until the end of June my child is due april 26th. Need a response quick as i'm aiming to send out the application tonight. Any and all help appreciated thanks!

Hi there, from my limited understanding, I don't believe you can apply to extend your status. That is somethig that probably should have been done whilst you still had a valid one.

So I think the omly option you can do is to apply for restoration and pay the $200.

Well what I was thinking was, once i've restored my status I would have to pay the $75 to extend it no?
