RESTORATION WORK PERMIT - STUDY PERMIT QUESTION

Hi Seniors,

Please help!

I came to Canada on November 2, 2016 under in home caregiver work permit for 2 years. After I completed my 24 months as a caregiver, I applied for PR and OWP at the beginning of November. I am sure I made a mistake in filing the application as I made an application under LCP rather than in home caregiver.

Now that I am under an implied status, I am wondering can I apply for restoration of Study Permit and go to a school for one or two years in Canada. That way I will have one year of post secondary studies that I currently don't have.

If not, what option do you suggest? Please help... I am a single mom and was hoping to start a new life here in Canada.

My employer is willing to help out in any any needed to keep me in status and get me my PR... He is also willing to extend a new job offer if needed
