Restoration online

Hi everyone. I need help to apply restoration online.

My previouse open work permit expired 31 December 2016 and its extension application refused on 5 January 2017 due to one important document miss. I am curretly have all of the document in hand and would like to apply restoration and my open work permit.
However, I can not find the entrance to apply restoration in My CIC Account.
When I login my CIC Account, there are four options(1. visitor visa, study and/or work permit 2. Express Entry, 3 IEC, 4 IFHP). None of them related to restoration. In addition, nomatter which I choose, I have to answer the questionair. One of the question is my current immigration status(student, worker, visitor, TRP holder, Refugee claimant, Live in caregiver). I am out of status now. so I cannot finished the questionaire.

could you please let me know how the link or entrance to apply restoration?
I called CIC several time, but they only send me the guide 5553 which always guide me to my CIC account. And nobody know how to apply when I login.
Is there anybody know that?

First, I don't know the answer for sure, so please check with others too.

- One point is, are you eligible to restore your open work permit? Have you been working and the work contract is getting extended or on what basis you can extend the open work permit?

- From an experience that I had for restoration of my child status, I think if you choose to apply for a work permit one of the questions in the online system will be when your last status did expire. And if the date that you enter is within last 90 days it will let you proceed.
If it first asks about your current status, I guess you might need to say worker as you have had a work permit which you want to restore (then you will declare that it is already expired, as I think it will ask about expiry date of your old permit).

Maybe you can just try the above and let us know if it takes you to restoration process.
or the other forum members may have more useful info than me.
