I am right now waiting for the decision from CIC, if my 2nd visa extension gets approved or refused. Yet I could not include a copy of a PR application in my visa extension app, because only in April we gonna be living together 1 year without interruption. My status expires next month. For in case the extension gets refused, can i apply for restoration of status and include a copy of our PR application, the payed fees and reapply for a visa extension ? I could figure out that restoration of status is possible within 90 days after the legal status expires, so would that be a valid reason to send a restoration of status app ?
And IF its possible, must I inform CBSA that I made a second visa extension ? I dont know if thats correct, but I read somewhere that CIC and CBSA are sharing informations and CBSA sees in their computers when somebody must leave the country, and if one dont show up in a certain time frame, they come after you. I just want to be prepared for every circumstances that may come and I dont wanna risk that CBSA officers are showing up at our house and deport me in handcuffs....*sigh*. That waiting and hoping for decisions to end up well, wrecks really my nerves at the moment
