Restoration of Status/ Visitor Record

Thanks! Actually I never mentioned that I got a job offered when I applied for the visitor extension. I just mentioned to visit other provinces so my question is how to request for a restoration and is it right to ask the company that gave me the job offer to write a letter that they want to keep me in?

I recently got file number. My work permit refused on May. So I become out of status.
I had 90 days, so I right away applied to restore my status as visitor. Didn't got visitor visa since I applied 2 month before.
Now I got AOR, and applied BOWP, confusion is that do I need to pay again fees for restore my worker status?

It's up to you. I'm not here to argue. I paid for the restoration of both applications, and I received approval for the BOWP along with the restoration. After that, I withdrew the visitor and restoration application.

Hey @andynandy, I hope things will get better for you. I was lucky enough to get an ITA before my restoration period was ending. I didn't waste any time and submitted my full application and got e-AOR on the same day. I applied for restoration as a worker under BOWP as soon as I got the e-AOR. It will be a year of my permanent residency in June 2024. Please don't give up and look for every option possible. To get an ITA, I took 5 IELTS in 4 months. If you are in my past situation, I know how difficult time is for you, but everything will be fine, you just have to invest your full energy to get a way.

@Sowgat , I am happy this worked out for you. I am in a similar state , I was able to apply for BOWP with AOR before restoration time lapsed but this is still awaiting approval. 1.Please how long did you have to wait for the BOWP approval?
2.How are you able to manage while you stoppped work during the wait period.
3.Hope did not have effect on the PR process.

I am facing the same issue my husband got refused for his Open Spouse Work Permit on 25th Feb, 2025. Now, he's on restoration period for 90 days. Almost a month gone because I am tried hard to find a NOC job which lies under TEER 2 or 3 in order to apply his SOWP but till the date didn't get. As a result, today I am trying to apply for his Restoration as Visitor but on the final page it only ask for restoration fee which is 239.40 CAD. So can someone guide me is the only thing we have to pay now because there is no content regarding restoration. Please guide me accordingly. I only have concern do we have to pay 100 +239.40 or visitor and restoration respectively or one at a time????? Please guide me
