Restoration of status...please help?

Hi,

I was on a work permit in Canada till 31 july 2015 and had applied for extension of work permit on July 20 but my application was rejected on 22 October 2015 as my wife did not received her pgwp approved. So currently I am out of status in Canada. I want to apply for restoration of status as a worker as now my wife received her pgwp for three years and working in NOC B job. I wanted to know can I apply it online or I will have to send a paper application only.

When I try to apply online it asks for current status in Canada ?

But thr is no option as out of status or something ?

You have to apply with in 90 days of going out of status, have to a separate fee and have to explain why you got out of status.

Having previously applied and received a refusal which you didnt anticipate and is approved now makes a good case for this situation.

However, it would have been pretty bad if you didn't even apply, went out of status and then applied for restoration.
