A friend of mine has his work permit expired so he applied for LMO; he also applied restoration of residensy status; he also has his positive lmo which is good till April 2011... He sent in his payments within the 90 day period after his status expired, but he was sent a letter saying his application was denied because he applied too late; but he has receipts to prove that it was done within 90 days... now the letter says he is here illegally and have to leave the country. What can he do?
