Response to a case specific enquiry; AOR sent by mail room staff

I received a response to a case specific enquiry. There was a typo in the name of my wife in AOR and
in the eCAS entry, so I sent in an enquiry not being able to speak to any agent.
The reply simply was that AOR's are sent by mail room staff and things will be looked at once it gets
into processing.

It was a surprise for me to know that the mail room staff send the AOR!!

Now, should I really believe the application is all complete when AOR is received!!

If you have received AOR then application has been accepted and they may ask for additional documents if required in future. For now its complete.

If there is name issue in AOR and same happens when you access e-cas, call CIC at 1-888-242-2100, press 4 and then 0. If the system says they are busy and can't transfer the call the hangup and try again. You might have to try 5-20 times in order for the system to put you on hold and transfer to an agent. Then explain the agent about the issue with the name and check with them if they have the name correctly setup in the system. If not, thent alk to them in order to correct the name and go through what they advise.
