Hi all,

I have a question. I read some posts where people shared that they received a reply from OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca, however I was never able to get a response from them.

For example, when I sent my biodata form, I only received an automated message. I didn't receive any email when my medicals were received (they show received on ECAS) or RCMP certificate was received (receipt confirmed per CanadaPost tracking). I emailed them on July 31, inquiring whether these documents have been received and added to my file, and I didn't get any response.

I am just wondering how some people receive a response from them. For those who did, could you share how you framed your email? I included all the details regarding file #, CEC, date of birth, client ID and etc.

Just to share my timeline,

July 15 Medical requested
July 17 biodata, RPRF, RCMP certificate requested - first email sent after sending biodata and RPRF
July 22 Medical Sent
July 26 Medical received (updated on ECAS), RCMP certificate sent
July 29 RCMP certificate received (per CanadaPost)
July 31 second email sent

Thank you.

Actually, you have to just keep following up with cic to receive a response, probably once every week. Make sure that you include all the below details when you send an email to CIC..

1. Surname (last name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document
2. Given name(s) (first name)– Exactly as it appears on the passport or identity document
3. Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
4. Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number
5. Application number ( F#, EP#, E#, B#)
6. Type of application (Family Sponsorship, Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nominee, Quebec Skilled Worker)

BTW, when did you file your cec app?
