I am sending in my spousal application this week. I am applying outland via London. However, i am currently residing in South Korea on a work visa, but I will leave on May 15th. Therefore, when filling in my Application for permanent residency form, I have put my Uk address as my mailing address and my Korean address as my residential address and also put my residency status as both UK and Korea. I have then attached a letter explaining the situation and that I will return to the UK and then my mailing and residential address will be the one in the UK and I no longer have visa status in any other country.

Do you think that will be ok?

Thanks in advance :)

Is your partner in Canada, and / or do you have someone able to deal with mail at the UK address right now?

Yes, i do have someone to recieve my post and yes my partner is Canadian.

As you are moving back to the UK, I would be tempted to use that address for residential and mailing.
Explaining about your current stay in SK only in the attached letter.
It may prevent communication issues in the future.

IMO, by the time the spousal section has been approved you will be very close to living at the UK address.

My question about your spouse was not about citizenship, if he is in Canada then the Canadian address may be better for the mailing address. If not, ignore my comment :)
