Dear all,

We have received our PR cards (family) very recently in March 2019 post landing. After landing we had returned back to our home country and we are thinking to move permanently after 1 year, but we are in a confused state.

Does PR card holders need to re-enter CANADA with in 6 months in order to maintain their PR status ? Will there be any inquiry by Immigration officers related to our absence for the past one year ?

Experts in this forum, requesting help. Have anyone gone through a similar situation ?

You may want to google your PR obligations...you have rights and duties being a permanent resident.
