I had my PR issued since july 2008, my wife and son PR issued in December 2009, and my daughter was born in Canada.

In 2012 i was interviewed by immigration at the airport and issued a removal order for my self only although i had till 2013 till expiry, my family was ok with the interview. I filed an appeal with in the 30 days timeline. i have received an early resolution submission request on April 2014 and submitted with the time frame of 30 days as requested. it was supposed for the IAD to response with in 25 days but that never happened. i received last month that i have a full hearing early January 2016.

Please note that since that 2012 me and my family have never left canada, my PR expired in mid 2013 and i applied for renewal in june 2015 but still in process as they asked for addition documents.

My question is what are my chances with the hearing? taking into consideration my wife and two kids which they have their citizenship test this month.

if the IAD accept the appeal on humanitarian case, would they take into consideration my days lived from 2012 or before?

I appreciate your advise

Hi Moe975,

I have a similar case where I had been issued a removal order at the airport for myself only due to not being able to stay 2 out of 5 years in Canada. My wilfe was sponsoredd by me and her landing date was after mine and shw was not issued anything.
I have 2 questions here:
1- is her PR status safe or can they issue her a removal ordee if I failed the appeal.
2- How come the time for appeal hearing is sooo long almost 3 years.

Thanks for your advise. As it will really help me soo much.

once she has got her residence, she has to meet the conditions individually, so hence your situation will not affect her pr.

the looong wait times, well, its the way it is.
