Hi,

Do days spent in Canada before obtaining Permanent Residency count towards Citizenship? I have been told by an immigration lawyer that time spent living in Canada within the last 4 years, even before obtaining PR, can count towards the 1095 days required.

Thanks,

You can count up to two years before you became a PR towards your citizenship count. However every day before you became a PR only counts as half a day.
