I applied for my Citizenship April 2015. My application reached CIC on April 15, 2015.
After reading through many posts on this forum I thought I should go look at my residency calculator again.
Below is what I found out:

Arrival Date: November 1, 2006
Permanent Residence Date: June 30, 2012
Application Date: April 11, 2015
Basic Residence Days: 1238 days
Days Absent: 102
Physical Presence Days: 1136 (*41 days above the requirement) *EDIT

Then I had a look at 'Absences from Canada'
I see a total of 161 days. This is form April 11, 2011 to April 11, 2015
118 days of my absence was before I became a PR
43 days of my absence was after my PR of which 32 days were to USA (3 trips in total)

How is my days absent 102 days according to the calculator? It has been puzzling me. Could anyone help me here? :)

Since April 11, 2011, you had 1238 days of basic residence days (1015 as PR, 446 days before (which only count half: 223)= 1238)

As you were 118 days away before you became PR, those absences also only count half: 59 days. Add those 59 to the 43 days of absence after become PR = 102

Trust me, the online calculator is probably almost bullet proof - unless you put your dates in wrong.
