residence calculator question

Hi Gurus,

While filling residence calc,it asks for country visited when absent from Canada.
I went to US(while still working there) ,then went to India,came back to US and then after few days to Canada.
How should I best describe the situation?

Got it! Instructions say , enter 2nd country in reason

However another question:
I left on Aug 13 and came back on Aug 15 in one of the visits to US
Entries require to fill absents: So I was absent from Aug 14 to Aug 14 (Since I was here on 13 & 15) ,and it gives 0 days while I was not her eon 14th
So I think on date of travel should one date be inclusive (13 or 15?)
