I work full-time as an Administrative Assistant, but as a secondary source of income I import stuff from the US and China (mostly electronics) and sell them in Brazil for a profit. I do not own an actual business or pay any kind of taxes over this activity, but I do keep track of all my earnings - which have revolved around a hundred Canadian dollars a month for the past 2 years. The point is it's helped me raise the money I'll use as proof of funds on my study permit application.

Since I don't have a solid surplus of money considering the minimum funds required (23k CAD) and I admittedly have been given some money from relatives (and I'm afraid my full-time job's accumulated gross income will barely reach that minimum), I thought about providing my simplified profit sheets as an additional form of backup. Is that a good idea? I can't make out if that would be viewed by the officer as a good or a bad thing...
