Hi guys,
I work for a software company in India and the company had initiated ICT, closed work permit for myself and open work permit for my wife as dependent. We recently got our respective VISAs for three years. Now before we could travel to Canada and get the work permit, my company had rescinded the job offer.

I request you guys please help me here what options do I have now.
My wife is having open work visa and myself closed work visa valid for three years.

You can only work for the employer printed on your work permit. Since that employer has rescinded the job offer - your work permit is worthless. If you want to work for a different employer in Canada, you would first need to obtain a full time job offer and that employer would then need to obtain an approved LMIA. Then you would be able to apply for a new closed work permit tied to that specific employer.

Hard to say about your wife. Her work permit is dependent on yours. If you arrive and the airport in Canada and CBSA checks with your company and determines your job offer no longer stands, they could potentially withdraw your wife's open work permit. Or it's possible she may be OK. Hard to say.

However either way, your work permit is worthless now and can't be used to work in Canada.

I know this is an old post, I am currently in a similar situation. My wife and myself got our W-1 TRV but her job offer got rescinded a few weeks before our planned arrival into Canada. I was supposed to get an open work permit, is there anything that can be done now with these visas?

There is nothing you can do. If your spouse job offer got rescinded, her closed work permit will be cancelled upon notification or knowledge. Open work permit issued to spouse will also be cancelled. Below is Similar quote under public policy but may apply to others

If a spouse or common-law partner was issued an LMIA-exempt work permit under the public policy, competitiveness and economy (i.e., spouse of a high skilled worker) and the principal worker’s work permit is revoked, the spousal work permit will also be revoked.

Thanks Simba112. Let's say we actually landed and got the work permit, then got the offer rescinded, I assume I would be in the same position.
