Rescheduling Citizenship Test

Hi all,
Does anyone know if we can leave Canada during the Citizenship application process? I have to leave Canada for some time and don't know what would happen if during this time I get invited for test. Can you reschedule the Citizenship test, and if so, what is the process?

Should I inform them that I'll be taking the test from outside?

when you receive test invite. perhaps by that time you're back in Canada. no need to proactively send them any message.
