Requirements for minor dependents of an international student

Maybe someone can share their experience. I have two minor dependents (16 & 12 yrs old) who I plan to bring to Canada this summer break and study there if allowed.
Currently they have a valid visit visa, but I am not sure if they can enter Canada with my husband (who will bring them to Canada) who is also under a visit visa
since there are travel restrictions right now. What other requirements do I need to provide for them as students and my minor dependents? Should I apply for their study permit ahead of time, or can they go to Canada and apply for it once they are there?

Both your spouse and children need special authorization to travel.
