NBI Clearance for Canadian Applications
If you’re applying for a visa, work, or permanent residency in Canada, the NBI Clearance is often required. Here’s how to secure one for Canadian purposes:

Apply for a Multi-Purpose NBI Clearance

The multi-purpose format is acceptable for visas, work permits, or immigration.
Indicate the Purpose as "For Travel Abroad"

Specify "Canada" as your destination when filling out your application.
Online Application and Scheduling

Visit the NBI Clearance website.
Fill out the form, pay the fee, and schedule your appointment.
Required Documents

Valid government-issued ID.
Reference number from the online application.
Authentication/Red Ribbon (Optional)

If the Canadian visa application requires an authenticated NBI Clearance, you can have it processed through DFA for an Apostille.
For Overseas Applicants

If you’re already in Canada, you can authorize someone in the Philippines to process your NBI Clearance online renewal process. Alternatively, you can apply through the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in Canada.
